Privacy Policy

This site (nathanwituk.com) is the personal portfolio of Nathan Wituk. This policy explains what information the site collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. If you have any questions, email nathanwitukbusiness@gmail.com.

Information you give me

Most data on this site is collected only when you choose to send it. That includes:

  • Project inquiries. When you fill out the contact or intake form, I collect your name, email, phone number, company or brand, and the project details you share (goals, budget, timeline, and similar). If you tell me you are open to having the work filmed or featured, I record that preference.
  • Messages. Anything you send me by email or through a form.
  • Account details. If you sign in to an app on this site using Google, I receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google. I do not receive your Google password.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, the hosting platform records basic technical logs when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request. These are used to keep the site secure and running. This site does not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics.

Cookies

This site only uses essential cookies. If you sign in to an app on the site, a session cookie keeps you logged in. These cookies are required for the site to work and are not used to track you across other websites, so no cookie consent banner is shown. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated first.

How your information is used

  • To respond to your inquiry and, if we work together, to carry out the project.
  • To send you transactional email, such as a confirmation that your inquiry was received.
  • To operate and secure accounts and features you choose to use.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

Your information is never sold. Project details you submit are used to prepare a proposal and, if you consent, may inform work that is later shared publicly (for example, on social media). Nothing about you is published without your agreement.

Services that process data on my behalf

To run this site I rely on a few trusted providers. They only process your data to provide their service to me, under their own privacy terms:

How long data is kept

Inquiry and account data is kept for as long as needed to respond to you, deliver a project, or meet legal and record-keeping needs. You can ask me to delete your data at any time.

Legal bases (EU and UK visitors)

Where the GDPR applies, I rely on these legal bases: to respond to your inquiry and take steps toward a possible project, the basis is acting on your request before entering a contract, together with my legitimate interest in replying; to send transactional email such as a confirmation, the same basis; to keep the site secure through server logs, my legitimate interest in security; and for account features you choose to use, providing the service you asked for. Where I rely on your consent, such as your optional agreement to have a project featured on social media, you can withdraw it at any time.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see the personal data I hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Depending on where you live (for example, the EU under GDPR or California under the CCPA), you may have additional rights, including the right to object to certain processing. If you are in the EU or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To make a request, email nathanwitukbusiness@gmail.com and I will respond within a reasonable time.

Security

I take reasonable measures to protect your information, and the providers above maintain their own security programs. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so I cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided information, email me and I will delete it.

International visitors

The site and its providers are based in the United States. If you visit from outside the US, your information will be processed in the US, which may have different data protection rules than your country.

Changes to this policy

I may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. Significant changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
